Job Description

As a team leader at Securitas, you will be involved in creating strong teams, where your commitment and ability to lead with care and clarity make a real difference – both for your colleagues and our customers.

In this position, you have a central role in the daily operations of the security control at Karlstad Airport. You lead, plan, and follow up on the work in an operation where safety, quality, and service are in focus. The role is a combination of operational tasks and administrative responsibility, creating a varied and developing workday. You work closely with both employees and the airport management and serve as an important link between the operation, the customer, and the client.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Leading, supporting, and developing a group of approximately 20–25 employees
• Managing the daily operations in the security control
• Ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and high safety levels
• Assisting and participating in staffing planning and identifying training needs
• Following up on statistics, performance, and quality in the operation
• Handling administration, reporting, and invoicing
• Being the main contact with the airport and partners
• Working operationally in the security control

Requirements

• You have approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Possess a B driver's license and preferably have access to a car
• You have a valid airport security training
• Possess training as an X-ray operator
• You have administrative experience
• Previously worked at an airport and have good experience in aviation security

Meritorious if you

• have training as ALA - team leader
• have an active background check and are approved as security personnel
• have training in surveillance, patrolling, and vehicle search

We see that you are a stable person who can easily navigate in a complex operation that can quickly be affected by new regulations, where you have the ability to adapt to changes. Since the work involves holding together the whole between customer, employees, and personnel planning, we see that you have good collaboration skills and can work in a structured manner. You are goal-oriented and can take action when needed, follow up, and ensure that regulations are followed and that employees maintain the right competence.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

For most roles, a B driver's license is also required.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
